Potsdam 18th of October 2019 - Due to popular demand and the growing number of adventurers using komoot in France and Italy, the world’s favorite route planning and navigation app is now available in French and Italian.

Adventuring and exploring are deeply personal experiences and we recognize how important it is to have a native, familiar experience when using navigation aids. This starts with the basics - having information available in your mother tongue. For this reason komoot has invested in localizing its smartphone apps for iOS and Android, its proprietary Garmin app, the desktop version of komoot, and its turn by turn navigation to Italian and french. The localization of komoot comes together with the hiring of Community Managers in each market to ensure that users are having the best experience possible when exploring the great outdoors by bike or foot.

For more information on komoot in these languages please check our press room for the respective media packs.
